great stay at doubletree by hilton with incredible cookies and welcoming staff for family travelers

Incredible experience overall!

Perfect match for a temporary stay in New York with incredible value for money. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Make sure to eat at Broadstone Bar across the street for some delicious small plates.

I was delighted by the friendly staff who were attentive, quickly assisting with my luggage and offering helpful local restaurant recommendations. The warm cookies at check-in were a lovely touch that made my arrival even sweeter.

Elevator wait times were frustrating, especially for seniors.

Elevator waits can stretch to 15 minutes or more, particularly at peak times—definitely not ideal when you're trying to get moving quickly. The room feels cramped, with furniture that has seen better days, lacking essentials like a refrigerator or basic toiletries that you'd expect even in a lower-star rated hotel. Noise from adjacent rooms can seep through, disrupting your peace.

had a great time at doubletree, the bed was so comfy and the room had this beautiful view of the tall buildings. the location is perf, right in the financial district and walking distance to 9/11 memorial, wall street and other cool spots. plus, they had warm cookies waiting for us at check-in, which was a nice touch! if you're into subways, times square ain’t too far away either. much nicer area than staying in times square.

the elevators are super slow, and we had to wait long times for them. also, we got hit with a $250 security deposit that we weren't expecting.

However, the room felt small for a family, and we had limited dining options nearby beyond fast food. The cookies in the lobby were a nice touch, but some food preferences, like pho, weren't available.

The King Room we stayed in was surprisingly spacious for NYC standards. The bed was super comfy—definitely a plus after a long day out. The bathroom was well-designed, and everything was clean and fresh. On the downside, the elevators took a while, especially during busy times. But overall, the room was a solid choice for our stay.

For a weekend getaway, we found this hotel perfect since it was just a few steps away from amazing attractions like the Charging Bull and the National Museum of the American Indian, allowing for leisurely strolls and memorable photo opportunities, plus, the room was comfortable and offered a stunning view of the area. however, the elevators were slow during peak times, which can be a bit frustrating.

The Doubletree By Hilton offered a convenient location with easy access to multiple subway stations, making it easy to navigate around New York City. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Additionally, the cookie welcome upon arrival added a nice personal touch to my stay.
